Kay CEE Energy & Infra IPO subscription status

The shares of the Rajasthan-based Kay Cee Energy & Infra Limited (KCEIL) Initial Public Offering (IPO) were subscribed 373.43 times with high interest from high-net worth individuals and retail investors according to the data available at NSE website, for its initial 3-days. The issue received bids for 80.28 crore shares against offer size of 21.5 lakh shares. The Kay Cee Energy & Infra Limited IPO will remain open for subscription between December 28, 2023 to January 02, 2024. The Rs 15.93 crore SME IPO comprises of a fresh issue of 29.5 lakh shares at a price band of Rs 51 to Rs 52.

Subscription numbers (for up to January 01, 2024)

The retail portion was subscribed 610.53 times, Non-Institutional Investors (NII) portion 315.51 times and the Qualified Institutional Investors (QIB) portion was subscribed 18.42 times.

The QIBs including FIIs placed bid for around 1.02 crore shares whereas Non institutional investors including corporates and high-net worth individuals put a bid for over 19.30 crore shares. Retail investors placed the most bids with 28.77 crore shares. The reservation in the issue for retail investors was 33.29% whereas NIIs and QIBs reserved 14.31% and 18.85% respectively. The issue also reserved 27.12% portion for anchor investors and a 6.44% portion for the market maker.

The market maker portion was 1,90,000 lakh shares. whereas anchor investors portion comprised of 8 lakh shares Two investors – Ativir Alternative Investment Fund and Finavenue Capital Trust had picked up equity shares worth Rs 3.31 crore and Rs 1 crore respectively during the anchor allocation.

Listing on January 5

The basis of allotment for the Kay Cee Energy & Infra Limited initial public offering will be finalised on January 03, 2024 by the issue registrar Bigshare Services Pvt Ltd. The investors can check the status of allotment of shares on the registrar BigShare Services’ website once it is uploaded. The refunds to the unsuccessful bidders and the credit of shares to the Demat accounts of successful allottees will be initiated on January 04, 2024.

The issue is set to list on the small and medium enterprises segment of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on January 05, 2024.
