DOMS Industries & India Shelter Finance IPO Subscription status on day 1

The two mainline Initial Public Offering (IPO) of DOMS Industries Limited and India Shelter Finance Corporation Limited opened today on 13th December and were fully subscribed within a few hours. DOMS Industries is turning out to be a favourite among retail investors who subscribed a whopping 20.47 times by the end of day 1. Overall, DOMS Industries IPO was subscribed a total of 6.13 times whereas India Shelter Finance IPO was subscribed 2.33 times.

DOMS Industries IPO Subscription Status

DOMS Industries IPO is a book built issue of total Rs 1,200 crore which includes a fresh issue of equity shares worth Rs 350 crore and an offer for sale worth Rs 850 crore.

  • The much-awaited IPO of DOMS Industries Limited, the first mainline public issue in December, was subscribed overall 6.13 times on day one.
  • The retail investors subscribed 20.47 times whereas the NIIs subscribed 8.40 times. The QIBs portion was subscribed 0.06 times.
  • The public issue received bids worth over Rs 4,029 crore on the first day.
  • A total of 479,162 applications were received on the first day for DOMS Industries IPO.

India Shelter Finance Corporation Limited IPO Subscription Status

India Shelter Finance IPO total size is Rs 1,200 crore comprising of fresh issue of shares worth Rs 800 crore and an offer for sale of Rs 400 crore.

  • The India Shelter Finance IPO was subscribed a total of 2.33 by the end of day one.
  • The retail portion was subscribed 2.51 times, NII portion 4.41 times and QIB portion was subscribed 0.38 times.
  • The IPO received a total of 4,79,925 applications for 3,96,41,574 shares worth Rs 1,954.33 crore.

With both the IPOs showing a keen interest among investors on the first day, the subscription numbers are likely to reach highs by the end of third day. With more than half a dozen mainboard IPOs are set to launch in December, the November’s rally seems to continue.
